Verb (Nai-form) + では済まない
Indicates that an action is socially, morally, or logically unavoidable. The speaker feels that, given the situation or common sense, they have no other choice but to do it. It is a formal, written expression.

A formal and literary particle that means the same as '〜なくても' (even if one doesn't do ~). It indicates that the action in question is not necessary to understand or achieve the outcome.

Used to describe a situation or state where everything is entirely filled with a single color, event, or element. While 'だらけ' often carries a negative nuance, 'ずくめ' is used for neutral, objective, or highly positive states (e.g., いいことずくめ - nothing but good things).

A suffix meaning 'having the quality of' or 'tending to'. More casual than じみる. Can be positive or negative.

How should I study these grammar patterns?
Work through each blueprint in order: read the structure, check the notes, then build your own sentences with it. Patterns are grouped by level, so studying them in sequence follows the exam syllabus.
What changes between grammar levels?
N5 covers basic sentence structure. N4 and N3 add connective forms, conditionals and increasingly formal registers. N2 and N1 expect you to handle academic and business Japanese, including written and spoken styles used in the wild.
